About the Founder
Ruchi Gupta is the Founder of RG People Solutions and a seasoned HR leader with over 25 years of progressive experience. She is known for her dynamic, innovative, and results-driven approach, combining strategic vision with strong execution capabilities. A self-motivated and creative change agent, Ruchi excels at leading transformation initiatives, building high-performance teams, and communicating complex ideas with clarity and impact.
She brings deep expertise in managing both domestic and global operations, having led business functions across India and Africa. Ruchi has advised organizations on talent management, workforce planning, outsourcing and insourcing strategies, negotiations, and competency mapping across Asia and Africa.
Her diverse industry experience spans Banking & Financial Services, Building Materials, Textiles, and Building Automation. Over the course of her career, she has held key roles at leading organizations including Johnson Controls, Arvind Mills, and the Royal Bank of Scotland.

Himanshu Gupta is the Co-Founder of RG People Solutions, bringing over 24 years of rich international business and consulting experience across a diverse range of industries, including retail, FMCG, chemicals, telecom, oil & gas, aerospace, and defense. He is widely recognized for his ability to drive economic performance by implementing best-in-class business practices and leveraging advanced technologies.
Himanshu specializes in partnering with executive leadership teams to innovate and optimize business strategies. His expertise spans supply chain management, strategic sourcing, lean principles, and operating model design. With a strong foundation in operations as well as sales and marketing, he is regarded as a thought leader who consistently delivers impactful and sustainable business outcomes.
Throughout his career, Himanshu has led complex, large-scale initiatives, guiding cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions that create competitive advantage and drive organizational success. He has also contributed to building intellectual capital for leading consulting firms and has successfully executed transformative strategies across multiple sectors.

Anjan Bhowmick is a Partner at RG People Solutions, leading the HR Consulting practice. He brings over two decades of global industry experience in driving transformational people practices across the Consumer, Manufacturing, and BFSI sectors.
Anjan has held several senior leadership roles, including Member of the Management Committee, International CHRO, and Global Head of Organization Development (OD) and Leadership for Fortune 500 organizations operating across four continents. His distinguished career includes leadership positions at globally renowned companies such as The Hershey Company, ITC Limited, Reinsurance Group of America Inc., Lafarge Inc., and the Vedanta Group of Companies.
A certified coach from the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and Newfield Network, Anjan is widely respected for his ability to create awareness, generate deep insights, and bring clarity to complex leadership challenges. Known for his direct, focused, and impactful style, he has accumulated over 1,500 hours of leadership coaching experience, working with senior executives across industries worldwide. His approach combines relatability with depth, enabling meaningful and sustained transformation.
Anjan has also contributed to academia as a faculty instructor at the ILR School, Cornell University, where he delivered Leadership and HR programs to executive MBA participants from across the globe. He currently consults and teaches at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), supporting Organization Development (OD) initiatives and leadership development.
Dr. Ashish Johri
Dr. Ashish Johri is a Partner at RG People Solutions and an accomplished professional in people development and capability building. With over 22 years of experience, he has worked extensively across Corporate, Government, and Non-Government sectors, helping organizations unlock human potential and drive performance.
Ashish is recognized for his strong ability to apply behavioral science research to enhance effectiveness at the individual, team, and organizational levels. His work focuses on translating theory into practical interventions that create measurable impact.
In addition to his consulting expertise, Dr. Johri has contributed significantly to academia. He has been a co-author of a book for the MBA program at Rajasthan Technical University and has served as a Professor of Human Resources, Organizational Behavior, and Business Communication. His dual experience in academia and industry allows him to bridge the gap between management education and real-world application.
As a training consultant, Ashish has designed and delivered behavioral training interventions for clients across a wide range of industries, including IT, Telecommunications, Infrastructure Development, Manufacturing, Banking & Finance, Not-for-Profit, Automobile, Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals, and Power sectors. His approach emphasizes practical learning, behavioral transformation, and sustainable capability building.
Piyush Thapliyal
Piyush Thapliyal is a Partner at RG People Solutions and a seasoned HR professional with over 25 years of experience spanning both consulting and corporate environments. He brings a wealth of knowledge across diverse industries, having worked with Indian and multinational clients across India, the Middle East, and the Asia Pacific region.
During his consulting career, Piyush partnered with organizations to address complex people and organizational challenges, while in his corporate roles, he has held key leadership positions including Group Talent Acquisition Head, Project HR Head, and Head of Human Resources.
Piyush is known for his strong business acumen, adaptability in dynamic environments, and ability to provide strategic direction to teams. His strengths include engaging and motivating teams, leveraging data and metrics for informed decision-making, and effectively managing key stakeholders.
He has deep expertise in organization design, talent acquisition, performance management systems, learning & development, succession planning, compensation management, and compliance.
Over the course of his career, Piyush has been associated with reputed organizations such as Stellar Search and the Dalmia Bharat Group, contributing significantly to their talent and HR transformation initiatives.
